As the lines between the banker's real life and the game become more uncertain, there are hints of a large a conspiracy, and Michael Douglas character fights to find out the truth behind what is going on.

The plot focuses on the strange relationship between two young boys and their father, who believes that he has been commanded by God to kill demons. He calls upon his sons to help him do so.

It tells the story of a police officer who infiltrates the Triads, and a police officer secretly working for the same Triad gang.  Both the Triad mole within the police force, and the undercover police officer within the Triad gang, fight to discover one another’s identity in.

Righteous Kill:  2008 crime thriller film directed by Jon Avnet, and starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. The two great names are reason enough to watch.

The Crying Game

The film is about the main character, Fergus' (Stephen Rea), who experiences as a member of the IRA, his brief but meaningful encounter with Jody (Forest Whitaker) who is held prisoner by the group, and his unexpected romantic relationship with Jody's girlfriend, Dil (Jaye Davidson) whom Fergus promised Jody he would protect.

Based on Eric Garcia's novel Matchstick Men: A Novel about Grifters with Issues (2002), the motion picture stars Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, and Alison Lohman. The film is about a con man with numerous disorders and tics and his partner in crime. He soon finds out that he has a daughter he never knew about and begins a relationship with her.

The Crying Game is one of my favs. Unusual Suspects and The Hangover were hilarious! I have never seen Layer Cake, I'll be sure to check that one out.

You have a really nice list here. The devils advocate was my all time favorite, great film and Al Pacino is a great actor. Derailed was a really twisted film and clive owen was fantastic(really gullible). Hangover was one film I really wanted to watch but have not gotten around to it. Will definitely look it up.

Fantastic and interesting hub. I have to admit that even though I adore films, I haven't seen any of these yet. The Game and Layer Cake sound really interesting. I'm definatly going to check all of these out, maybe get a few of them for Christmas.

Shutter Island, Psycho, and Jacob's Ladder have really great stings in the tail, too.
